Description
What: Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: Northwestern Emery County in central Utah
When: Until 545 PM MDT.
Impacts: Flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, including Highway 29 between Orangeville and Joes Valley Reservoir.
Additional Details: - At 416 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Highway 29 between Orangeville and Joes Valley Reservoir. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Recommended Action
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
