Flood Advisory
What: Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Shackelford and Throckmorton.
When: Until 745 PM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 431 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Albany, Fort Griffin, Ibex, The Intersection Of Us-283 And Ranch Road 209, Us-180 Near The Shackelford-Stephens County Line, Mccarty Lake, The Intersection Of Us-183 And Us-283 and The Intersection Of Us-380 And Highway 222. - This includes the following Low Water Crossing

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
