When: Until 1015 AM CDT.
Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable especially along FM 3128 northeast of Coldspring and SH 150 west of Shepherd.
Additional Details: - At 816 AM CDT, Flooding is already occuring in the warned area. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, and monitoring approaching scattered showers. Flash Flood Guidance is very low in this area due to previous rounds of rainfall, especially near Coldspring. Additional heavy rainfall this morning could warrant an upgrade back to a Flash Flood Warning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Shepherd, Coldspring and Lake Livingston State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Impacts: At 19.0 feet, At levels above 19 feet, minor lowland flooding begins as water escapes the main channel of the creek.
