Recommended Action
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texa
S: Neches River Near Diboll affecting Polk, Angelina and Trinity Counties. For the Neches Riverincluding Neches, Alto, Diboll, Rockland Minor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Neches River near Diboll.
When: From this evening to late Friday night.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs. Expect flooded boat ramps and trails.
Additional Details: - At 5:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 3.4 feet. - ForecastThe Neches River south of Diboll is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 12.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 12.1 feet on 05/21/1956. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
