Description
What: Heat index values up to 110 expected.
Where: Portions of southeast North Carolina and northeast South Carolina.
When: From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.
Impacts: Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Recommended Action
Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun and in an air-conditioned room if possible, and check on those more sensitive to the heat.
