Description

At 605 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an outflow boundary and strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Robeson Community College to near Raemon to near Bennettsville. Movement was south at 15 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include Lumberton, Bennettsville, Dillon, Red Springs, Pembroke, Fairmont, Maxton, Mccoll, St. Pauls, Latta, Rowland, Clio, Rex, Hamer, Brownsville, South Of The Border, Hestertown, Shannon, Buie, and Robeson Community College. This includes the following highway
S: Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers 176 and 198. Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 1 and 34.

Recommended Action

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Strong wind gusts with the outflow boundary will occur prior to any rain or lightning.
