Description

What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Where: Portions of northeast Ohio, including the following areas, Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Geauga, Lake and Trumbull and northwest Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Crawford, Northern Erie and Southern Erie.
When: Through this evening.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
Additional Details: - Heavy rain has fallen over the watch area over the last 24 hours. Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected later today which could produce locally heavy rainfall of 1 to 3 inches. These repeated rounds of rain could result in flooding of urban corridors along with flooding of streams, creeks, and other low lying areas. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.

Recommended Action

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
