Description
Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Oklahoma Spring River near Quapaw affecting Ottawa County. What: Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. Where: Spring River near Quapaw. When: Until tomorrow afternoon. Impacts: At 24.0 feet, park and recreational areas downstream from the gage site experience moderate flooding. Additional Details: - At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 23.2 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.0 feet this evening. Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Oklahoma Neosho River near Commerce affecting Ottawa County.
What: Moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Neosho River near Commerce.
When: From this evening to Friday evening.
Impacts: At 22.0 feet, widespread flooding occurs along the Neosho River. Riverview Park becomes inundated and access roads to the Ottawa County Fairgrounds will be closed.
Additional Details: - At 9:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 6.3 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 21.8 feet early Wednesday afternoon.
