Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Southern Pontotoc County in east central Oklahoma Southwestern Coal County in southeastern Oklahoma Johnston County in southeastern Oklahoma Northwestern Marshall County in southeastern Oklahoma East Central Carter County in southern Oklahoma Southeastern Murray County in southern Oklahoma
When: Until 430 PM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 228 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Tishomingo, Dickson, Mannsville, Ravia, Stonewall, Mill Creek, Fitzhugh, Bromide, Gene Autry, Hickory, Reagan, Connerville, Pontotoc, Scullin, Russett, Fittstown, Clarita and Jesse. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
