Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Cumberland, Hoke, Montgomery, Moore and Richmond.
When: Until 1215 AM EDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 921 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that may experience flooding include Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Raeford, Pinehurst, Aberdeen, Hoffman, Antioch, Hope Mills, Pinebluff, Ellerbe, Foxfire, Taylortown, Norman, Ashley Heights, Bowmore and Silver City.
