S: Marais Des Cygnes River above Reading affecting Lyon and Osage Counties.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Marais Des Cygnes River above Reading.
When: From this morning to Thursday morning.
Impacts: At 19.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river flood. At 21.0 feet, County Road Y 5 near the gage floods, 3 miles north of Reading.
Additional Details: - At 5:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 17.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 20.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
