What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: Far northeast Grant County in central Indiana Far northeast Jay County in east central Indiana Southern Adams County in northeastern Indiana Southeast Huntington County in northeastern Indiana Wells County in northeastern Indiana
When: Until 900 PM EDT Wednesday.
Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
Additional Details: - At 110 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rainfall has come to an end early this afternoon. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible later this afternoon into this evening. Reports of flooding have been received by emergency management with some road closures due to high water. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Bluffton, Berne, Geneva, Nottingham, Poneto, Vera Cruz, Reiffsburg, Domestic, Petroleum, Linn Grove, Travisville, Wellsburg, Dillman, North Oaks, Keystone, Liberty Center, Ceylon, Mount Zion, Rockford and Mcnatts. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
