Description
What: Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches below 6500 feet. 6 to 10 inches 6500 ft to 8000 ft and 1-2 feet on the highest peaks. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
Where: Big Lost Highlands/Copper Basin, Frank Church Wilderness, Sawtooth/Stanley Basin, and Sun Valley Region.
When: From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM MDT Thursday.
Impacts: Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
Recommended Action
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Call 5 1 1 or visit 511.idaho.gov for the latest road conditions.
