Severe Thunderstorm Warning
The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for West Central Cherokee County in northwestern Iowa Northeastern Plymouth County in northwestern Iowa Until 115 AM CDT. At 1224 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southwest of Remsen, or 5 miles east of Le Mars, moving east at 20 mph.
Hazard: Ping pong ball size hail.

Impact: People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. This severe thunderstorm will be near Le Mars around 1225 AM CDT. Remsen around 1235 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Oyens and Marcus.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail. Report severe weather to your nearest law enforcement agency or the National Weather Service office in Sioux Falls SD.
