FIRE WEATHER WATCH ISSUED FOR SOUTHEAST ALABAMA, SOUTHWEST GEORGIA, AND MOST OF THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE ON SATURDAY THANKS TO LOW HUMIDITY AND BREEZY WINDS FOLLOWING A DRY FRONTAL PASSAGE. The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening.
Affected Area: Fire weather zones 065, 066, 067, 068, and 069.Fire weather zones 007, 008, 009, 010, 011, 012, 013, 016, 108, 112, and 326.Fire weather zones 120, 121, 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 155, 156, 157, 158, 159, 160, and 161.
Wind: Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 30 mph.
Humidity: As low as 18 percent in the afternoon.
Impacts: any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
