Recommended Action
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama Florida Blackwater River Near Baker affecting Covington, Okaloosa, Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. For the Blackwater Riverincluding Upper Blackwater River, Baker Minor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Blackwater River near Baker.
When: Until Monday evening.
Impacts: At 14.5 feet, flooding of Cotton Ridge Park in Baker begins.
Additional Details: - At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.6 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 4.3 feet Friday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
