Description

This is a Manitoba Emergency Alert. Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure's Hydrologic Forecast Centre has issued an Overland Flood Watch due to forecast precipitation for parts of Manitoba.
A system may bring 40 to 90 mm of precipitation for parts of Northeast Manitoba from June 10 to June 13. Heavy rainfall over a short period may lead to high surface runoff and overland flooding. Up-to-date information is available at www.gov.mb.ca/flooding and www.manitoba511.ca

Recommended Action

If you are in the affected area, be mindful of local waterways. Do not attempt to cross fast flowing waters or waters of unknown depth. Avoid flooded areas. Follow all directions by local authorities. Listen for updates. Take all necessary precautions to stay safe.
