Tuesday, April 14th 2020, 1:48 pm - Powerful wind gusts caused downed trees, power outages and flooding across southern Ontario.
A potent low pressure system that tracked through southern Ontario left powerful, damaging winds in its wake on Monday.

During peak wind gusts, trees were blown down and tore power lines as they fell, leaving tens of thousands without power. According to Hydro One's website, power had been restored to the majority of its affected customers by the early afternoon on Tuesday.
See below for a look at the damages caused by the strong wind gusts and high water levels.
