Emma Lake Recreation Site Public Beach Short Term Forecast
Emma Lake Recreation Site is a Saskatchewan Provincial Park and it is popular for recreational use. There is a 5 fee to enter the park. The public beach is located within the Murray Point Cottages Subdivision. It is a small sandy beach with clear water characteristic of the lake. There is a parking lot with easy access to the beach. The lake bottom is a mixture of sand and rocks. It is shallow throughout most of the designated swimming area which is marked by buoys. All swimming is unsupervised. No pets allowed on the beach. There is one bench located directly on the beach. The beach is surrounded by dense forest so you can hear song birds and may even encounter larger wildlife such as deer! The shoreline across from the beach is covered with forest giving the beach a nice view. Just upland of the beach is a large grassy park which features some forest stands as well as open space. There are volleyball courts and a small playground for children in the park. This area also features outhouse facilities a day use gazebo with BBQs and several picnic tables. There is a public boat launch in between the subdivision and the campground.
