Current results show 11 E.coli/100ml.WATER QUALITY HISTORY:Due to the oil spill on April 8th 2015 please continue to take caution when using this beach.September 4 2014: Whytecliffe Park has tested at 176 E.coli/100mL please take caution when swimming at this beach. From the end of July through most of August 2014 Whytecliff Park test results were over 100 E.coli/100 mL making the area unsafe for swimmingAugust 22th 2013 update: Whytecliff Park has been declared safe for swimming by Vancouver Coastal Health however the coliform counts still exceed our own standard of 100 E.coli/100mL. The geometric mean is currently at 120 E.coli/100mL. Please exercise caution when taking part in aquatic recreational activities.BEACH INFO:Located a few minutes away from Horseshoe Bay Whytecliff Park became Canada's first Salt Water Marine Protected Area in 1993. The diversity of close to 200 marine life species makes it a hot spot for local divers as well as a popular destination for visitors.AMENITIES:Public washrooms hiking trails.
