WATER QUALITY HISTORY:This beach is monitored every two weeks from May to September.BEACH INFO: This part of Okanagan Lake receives water from industrial and municipal outfalls which can contain acid mine drainage and a variety of chemicals in addition to treated municipal sewage. The area has generally met water quality objectives for nitrogen and phosphorus. AMENITIES:The primary attraction of this beach is its dog-friendly policy. Sandy beaches and picnic tables are also available for visitors. Swimming is at one's own risk as no lifeguard is on duty.
