Wednesday, January 7, 2015, 4:49 PM - Heavy rain that inundated the Seattle area for days has triggered landslides and forced the closure of several roads.
The storm moved in over the weekend, dropping more than 225 mm of rain on some communities before tapering Tuesday.
That was more than enough to cause damage to the foundation of at least three homes and force the evacuation of 60 nursing home residents.
No injuries have been reported, but dramatic video has surfaced.

On Monday the rain triggered landslides east of Seattle, causing a building to collapse into the Wallace River near Gold Bar, Washington.
The Snohomish County Sherriff's Office released the footage that same day.
Residents are being advised to avoid fast-moving water and low-lying areas until the flood waters recede.
