Wednesday, January 7, 2015, 6:04 PM - If you've been feeling cold this week, you aren't alone -- and a new video on YouTube shows just how frigid the conditions have been.
On Tuesday, it felt like -22 in Minneapolis, Minnesota with the wind chill -- and that's nothing compared to what's expected in the city later this week.
Residents could wake up to a wind chill of -34 Wednesday, and those conditions are expected to persist into the weekend.
YouTube user and Minneapolis resident Nathan Ziegler decided to have some fun with the cold, using his trampoline to demonstrate how quickly water freezes in these extreme conditions.
Ziegler added a thin layer of water to his trampoline and after it froze, he jumped on it -- sending the ice flying in every direction.
The deep freeze in Minnesota isn't a far cry from what's being seen in parts of Canada, with southern Ontario in the midst of the chilliest weather of the season so far.
