Thursday, July 10, 2014, 7:40 PM - A sudden downpour caused flash flooding in Lorman, Mississippi Tuesday, leaving two orange kittens submerged in several millimetres of water.
Chakakahan Davis, the owner of the cats, said she was worried the kittens would drown in the floods and was ecstatic to find them safe, albeit a little wet.
She scooped up the weeks-old kittens and brought them to higher ground.

"Every time we have flash flooding here it floods like this," she told local media.
The kitties are now safe and sound.
Davis says she'll wait for the waters to recede before she lets the little ones back outside.
