WATCH: Cats react to magic tricks

When Jose Ahonen published Magic for Dogs to YouTube last month it was an instant hit, garnering more than 12 million views in three weeks' time.
As it turns out, dogs think magic is pretty cool -- but cats can be a little harder to please.
Las Vegas magician Rick Lax found that out when filming his "Magic for Cats" short, which was published earlier this month.
The video is blowing up on YouTube, receiving tens of thousands of hits in a few short days.
"I [spent] a day performing magic tricks for cats to see their reaction," Lax told Yahoo News, adding that they behaved quite differently from Ahonen's dogs.

In true feline nature, the cats don't appear to be the least bit impressed with Lax's trickery.
It's unclear if they were sincerely disinterested or simply playing it cool.
But one commenter on YouTube offered up a fresh perspective:
"It worked!" leksious claimed. "[The] cat disappeared every time!"
