According to the Associated Press the waterspout picked up the house as it inched ashore, throwing it into a parking lot.
Fort Lauderdale Police spokesperson Kevin Dupree told the news agency the house flew above the tree line but the children appeared to have fallen out when the house flipped over the beach.
"They were immediately dropped out of the bounce house onto the sand," he added.
This isn't the first time strong winds have caused an inflatable house to go airborne.

WATERSPOUTS VS. TORNADOES
A waterspout is essentially a non-supercell tornado over water. These formations typically fizzle out upon making contact with the land.
In rare occasions, waterspouts will move ashore and maintain their strength.
When that occurs the waterspout is re-classified as a tornado.
