Moose seen floating on lone iceberg in North Dakota River
Brett Berry was filming the damage caused to Cartwright, North Dakota, due to recent flooding and captured a moose floating on the Missouri River on a chunk of ice.
Reports said that ice jams extended for miles along the riverbanks.
Berry tells The Weather Network it wasn't the only moose he saw.

"I had noticed five different moose all trapped either on islands or on the ice jam itself during that week," he said via email.
"I did contact ND game and fish but they said they were unable to do anything to help the moose but thanked me for the update."
Berry says some of the moose he observed made it to higher ground once the flood waters receded.
"The moose [in] my video was never seen swimming back to shore, but I am sure he made it back to shore safely as moose are very strong swimmers and downstream there was no immediate danger," he added.
MAJOR FLOODS HIT NORTH DAKOTA, MONTANA
Dozens of homes have been evacuated due to flooding on the Yellowstone River in western North Dakota and eastern Montana.
The National Weather Service says ice jams go on for miles along the Yellowstone to its confluence with the Missouri River.

The flooding has caused several closures and forced the evacuation of around 50 homes near Cartwright, North Dakota, and Fairview, Montana.
The flood also caused a minor oil spill into the river.
