Dumping day

12089 views Sue Deschene December 3, 2021 CCP4+JG South Side, NS, Canada Date shot: December 1, 2021

Wednesday gave us ideal conditions for "dumping day" (the first day of the lobster fishing season in our region of Nova Scotia). Lobster fishermen head out, their boats fully loaded with traps, then dump their traps on their first day out. Winds were gentle, seas were relatively calm as lobster boats dotted the horizon off Daniel's Head Beach in Shelburne County, Nova Scotia.
