Veterans Memorial Beach, NY

Veterans Memorial Park is a Peconic Bayfront park located at the end of Bay Avenue in Mattituck. Features include pavilion buildings a large parking area restrooms showers picnic area a playground with swings a bocce court a shuffleboard court and a horseshoe pitch. Lifeguards are on duty during summer months. Beach wheelchairs are available. There is a Community Room available for meetings and events. The picnic and barbeque area located on the west side has water and electricity restrooms picnic tables and on-site parking and is available for residential use. Beach entrance by car during summer months requires a resident season pass (5 per year) or a day guest pass (15 per car). These can be obtained from the beach attendant located at the entrance. This is a Tier III beach.
