Manhem Beach Club, NY

Most of the Bronx beaches are private and this club is no exception. The Manhem Beach Club is a private Swedish-American beach club located on Clarence Avenue in the Bronx New York. The beach looks out over City Island and the Long Island Sound like all the other clubs on the strip. This club accepts new members but it requires applicants to be sponsored by a current member(s) in good standing. Like many other private clubs that want to maintain their exclusivity this club does not have a public website. One member described this area as 'a strip of heaven that we try to keep secret.'
