Veterans Memorial Beach on Ocean Street is a popular spot where beachgoers enjoy cookouts and picnics shaded by a pine grove. This park is home to two historical shrines: the Korean War Memorial and the John F. Kennedy Memorial. Come and watch the boats traveling in and out of Lewis Bay. There is a playground for children barbecue grills a great snack bar benches a fountain restrooms and showers. Handicap chairs are available and the parking lot is handicap-accessible. Lifeguards are on duty during summer season only from 9am until 5pm. Residential parking stickers are 30 and daily parking fees are 15 (weekdays) and 20 (weekends and holidays).
