Malaga Cove Short Term Forecast
Directly south of Torrance Beach on the Palos Verdes Peninsula is Malaga Cove. The coves southern half is a rocky beach better for diving than sunbathing. Beachgoers must walk down a fairly steep and slippery path from the parking lot on the cliff above. The cove presents a rocky entry for divers but its considered a beginner to intermediate dive offering good visibility and lots of rocks and crevices to find brightly colored Spanish shawl nudibranchs Calico Bass Giant Kelpfish and an abundance of octopus. Also common here is the California Halibut and Bat Rays.
