Near critical fire weather conditions now largely expected acrosssouthern Wisconsin today due to low relative humidities (~25%),breezy west winds with gusts from 30-35 mph (will turn northwestbehind the front before decreasing), with warm temperatures in theupper 60s and good conditions for fuels to burn. There is someuncertainty on the temperatures and how low dew points get but therisk for deeper mixing to lead to even drier conditions (RH ~20%)is there. In addition it appears that the risk for showers hasdecreased and we now expect to remain on the drier side throughthis afternoon. This has thus led to near critical fire weatherconcerns through this afternoon.
