...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...Navasota River near Normangee affecting Madison, Brazos andGrimes Counties.For the Navasota River...including Normangee...Minor flooding isforecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Navasota River near Normangee.* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins as waterescapes the main channel and inundates the flood plain.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 11:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.7 feet.- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 11:00 PM CDT Thursday was 16.7 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stageearly Saturday afternoon and continue falling to 13.3 feetTuesday evening.- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of15.7 feet on 07/02/2007.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
