Description
A combination of dry fuels, low relative humidity and windyconditions this afternoon will create an elevated risk of wildfirespread across much of Western Pennsylvania.Minimum relative humidity values will range from 20 to 30 percentaccompanied by wind gusts between 20 and 30 mph from the south-southwest.Residents are urged to exercise caution if handling any potentialignition sources, such as machinery, cigarettes, or matches.If dry grasses and tree litter begin to burn, the fire will havethe potential to spread rapidly.For more information about wildfire danger and wildfireprevention and education, please visit the Pennsylvania Departmentof Conservation and Natural Resources website athttp://dcnr.pa.gov/Communities/Wildfire.
