* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...Portions of northeast North Carolina, including thefollowing areas, Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Eastern Currituck, Gates,Hertford, Northampton, Pasquotank, Perquimans and WesternCurrituck and southeast Virginia, including the following areas,Chesapeake, Greensville, Hampton/Poquoson, Isle of Wight, JamesCity, Newport News, Norfolk/Portsmouth, Southampton, Suffolk,Surry, Sussex, Virginia Beach and York.* WHEN...Through this evening.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- The axis of heavy rain will shift east as the cold frontapproaches and remain across the eastern portion of the localarea through the day today.
