Menominee River near Pembine affecting Menominee and Marinette
.An ice jam will cause the river to fluctuate above flood stage for
the next few days.

* At 8:00 PM CST Sunday the stage was 16.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:00 PM CST Sunday was 16.9 feet.
* Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
* Impact...At 16.9 feet, Cold conditions and above normal flows in
the winter continue to create ice jams downstream of the Pemene
Falls. Water and ice levels fluctuate during ice jams. Please
report any observations of ice jams to your local law enforcement
agency to relay to the National Weather Service.

A low pressure system lifting into the Upper Great Lakes will
bring the potential for moderate snow over the southeast half of
Upper Michigan late Monday into Monday night. The quick-moving
system will exit east of the Upper Great Lakes early Tuesday
bringing an end to the system snow. However, colder air being
pulled in behind the system will support light to at times
moderate lake effect snow over the northwest wind snow belts
Tuesday into Wednesday.
Those planning travel over the southeast half of Upper Michigan
late Monday into Monday night should expect snow-covered and
slippery highways and lowered visibility in moderate to possibly
