...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers inMississippi...Louisiana...Pearl River Near Pearl River affecting St. Tammany, Hancock andPearl River Counties.For the Lower Pearl River...including Pearl River...Minor floodingis forecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Pearl River near Pearl River.* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.* IMPACTS...At 15.5 feet, Secondary roads to the river andthroughout Honey Island Swamp are inundated. Property in thevicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes alongthe left bank. The Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge will beclosed to hunting at the 15.5 foot stage.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.4 feet.- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 10:00 AM CDT Thursday was 15.5 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stageearly Saturday morning and continue falling to 10.9 feetSunday, May 05.- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of15.3 feet on 02/13/1981.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
