...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers inLouisiana...Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting East Baton Rouge,Pointe Coupee and West Feliciana Parishes.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.* WHERE...Mississippi River at Red River Landing.* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.* IMPACTS...At 48.0 feet, Access roads will be inundated andevacuation of all river islands must be complete. Protection ofpeople and property in the river bottom land on the river side ofthe levees must be complete.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 48.1 feet.- Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 9:00 AM CDT Thursday was 48.1 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 9.6 feet justafter midnight tonight.- Flood stage is 48.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of48.1 feet on 06/10/1957.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
