The Flood Warning continues for
the Sabine River Near Deweyville.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 25.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:45 AM CDT Monday was 25.1 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to remain near 25.0 feet this
afternoon. It will then rise to 25.6 feet Friday morning.
Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 26.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding will occur. The
lowest homes between Deweyville and the river begin to flood,
especially in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections. Low-lying
roads and a few homes in Southwestern Beauregard Parish have some
flooding.

* At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 17.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this morning to a crest of 20.1 feet early Wednesday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Hawks Road near the gauge becomes flooded.

* From late tonight to late Friday night.
* At 9:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 27.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tonight to a crest of 31.9 feet early Wednesday morning. It will
then fall below flood stage Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 32.0 feet, Roads in the Sabine Sands area near Bon
Wier become flooded.
