River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 24 hours.
The Flood Warning continues for
The Mississippi River at Rock Island LD15.
* Until further notice.
* At 6:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 16.5 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast, Rise to 16.9 feet Saturday morning, then begin falling.
* Impact, At 16.5 feet, Water affects Credit Island Lane in
Davenport and the 4700 block of River Drive in Moline. Water is at
the base of the flood wall gates at the downtown Rock Island
riverfront.

* At 8:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 10.9 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, Rise above flood stage Thursday morning and continue
rising to 11.4 feet Tuesday evening.
* Impact, At 11.4 feet, Water affects 245th Avenue in Pleasant
Valley.

Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Clinton and Scott
Counties

This Flood Watch is based on observed and predicted rainfall over
the next 24 hours.

At this time there is limited confidence associated with rainfall
amounts and the location of predicted rainfall.

If rainfall in the basin is less than predicted, the forecast river
stage may not be reached. Conversely, if rainfall is more than
predicted the river may crest higher.

As the forecast becomes more certain, this watch will either be
upgraded to a warning or cancelled.
The Flood Watch continues for
The Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S
* Until further notice.
* At 8:30 AM Wednesday the stage was 9.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Forecast, Rise above flood stage Sunday...and continue rising to
11.2 feet Monday morning.
* This forecast is based on routed flow from upstream in combination
with forecast rainfall. Consequently there is limited confidence
in the river reaching flood stage.
