Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deathsoccur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,even a small one, on foot. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...Wabash River at Montezuma..Rainfall of one inch or more earlier this week has brought theWabash River at Montezuma back into minor flood which is expected topersist into tonight. Crests are likely to be less than one footabove flood stage, well below levels experienced earlier this month.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands alongthe right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge ofMontezuma begin to flood.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 9:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 14.3 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 9:45 AM EDT Friday was 14.3 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stagelate this evening and continue falling and remain below floodstage.- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
