Winter Storm Warning

...Freezing rain and sleet expected across the Big Country,
Concho Valley, and portions of the Heartland tonight into
Wednesday morning...

.A strong cold front has moved through the area, ushering in much
colder temperatures. Temperatures have fallen below freezing
across the Big Country, and will drop below freezing this evening
across the Concho Valley and portions of the Heartland. The
freezing temperatures will create the potential for freezing rain
and sleet to occur, resulting in ice accumulations on trees,
power lines, elevated surfaces, overpasses, and possibly other
roads and highways.

* WHAT...Heavy mixed of sleet and freezing rain. Accumulations
around one quarter inch possible.

* WHERE...Coke, Shackelford, Sterling, Taylor and Callahan

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Power outages and tree damage are likely
due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
