Corn Moon Through the Swedish Aspens

501 views Guy Wilde September 6, 2020 Kildonan Green Drive, Winnipeg, MB Date shot: September 3, 2020

Last Thursday I walked out our back door and looked to the southeast, towards the Swedish Aspen trees that are along our property line. Through a break in the foliage I was able to catch a glimpse of the "Corn Moon", relatively low in the eastern sky. Not to sure who comes up with all these "new" names for full moons. When I was growing up the only moon name we knew of was the "Harvest Moon".
