Zodiacal Light III

543 views Barry Burgess February 13, 2018 Upper Ohio, NS Date shot: February 5, 2018

Tis the season of Zodiacal Light. This is not light pollution. I drove over two hours to Upper Ohio to avoid light pollution from spoiling my photo. This is the first time I observed Zodiacal light and it was easily visible to the eye. Phonographed Monday Feb 5, 2018. Sunlight reflecting off comet and asteroid dust concentrated in the plane of the solar system creates the zodiacal light. Zodiacal light should be visible in the west about one and one half hours after sunset for about one and one half hours for the next two weeks.
