The moon was very low in the west when I shot this photo at 6:08am, using a tripod mounted DSLR and a 300mm telephoto lens. It was too low on the horizon to be able to a higher resolution image from any telescope in either of the observatories. This eclipse was quite dark compared to others, and glad to catch it as we will not have another for several years.
