I was outside in the hot tub when I looked up and noticed a large ring appearing around the moon and showed my boyfriend and told him to take a picture. This was something we never noticed at night before. We researched this phenomena and found it was much more common than we thought but something you don't see often where we are. We were shocked to read this was ice crystals so we thought to send this picture to you to let others know what a beautiful, interesting sight this is!
