I got artistic with my eclipse shots. So it was about 12 PM, and I went outside to see what things looked like for the big solar eclipse shot. I was pumped. Clouds. ☁️ Great! 😢. The sun was totally blocked from view. I looked at the satellite cloud radar and found what appeared to be a clearing in the Morden area. So Ruth and I set out on an adventure to get the money shot. This turned into a 2 hr drive all the way past Winkler till we almost crossed the border. It was there that the clouds finally broke and we were blinded by the glorious sun. Unfortunately, we got to this point around 2 PM, when the eclipse was almost finished. It was still worth it though :)
