A Noctilucent Night at Peggys Cove

248 views Barry Burgess July 11, 2019 Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia Date shot: July 10, 2019

I have been driving to Peggys Cove every clear night for the past two weeks hopping to see noctilucent clouds since I read that this year they seem to be more frequent and further south than usual. I think I may have finally captured them. On the dawn of June 13 I say a good display driving home from a late night of photography, I was really tired and did not stop which I now regret and have been searching for them ever since. These clouds are a bit more subdued than the ones I saw on June 13 and unlike then the moon was still up so I am hoping these are noctilucent clouds. Photographed at 10:28 ADT in Peggys Cove.
