On this mountain ridge, near Excelsior Pass, there still remain significant remnants of last winter's snow. Yet nearby and among the snow banks, wildflowers are in bloom displaying their kaleidoscope of several colors and species; yellow, blue, pink, white, orange,red, and so on.
